Schools

One school, two sites, and a curriculum built around every child

Redbourn Park is one school across two sites, providing bespoke education for children with a primary diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Condition, ADHD and early years trauma. Our provision runs from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 4, giving each child a consistent home as they grow and progress.

Whatever their key stage, every pupil is taught through the same therapeutic approach. We think first about helping children feel safe, then meet them where they are, and only then look to be ambitious with their learning. Success here can look very different from a conventional school. Trying a new food, reading aloud or beating a personal best are all celebratory days for us.

Our curriculum is highly personalised to meet each child’s unique needs and EHCP targets. Alongside our core subjects we develop the whole child through a creative curriculum, enrichment activities and therapy input, so that every student leaves us with the academic and life skills to take their next step with confidence.

Curriculum, support and interventions

Across every key stage we use our learning assessment platform, IXL, to diagnostically assess each pupil, build a clear picture of their needs and identify the gaps to address through intervention. Our specialist teachers plan bespoke, creative and engaging sessions to bridge those gaps, holding high aspirations for every child.

We place equal importance on wellbeing. Pupils have regular check-ins with trusted members of staff throughout the day to make sure they feel safe, supported and ready to learn, and where further support is needed we can refer them to our therapy team.
